About Rhona

Rhona J. Vega is an award-winning, highly sought-after public speaker, consultant, and education advocate. She is an expert in college and career readiness and has connected thousands of historically excluded youth to life-changing resources, mentorship, and opportunities.

She is the Chief Dreamer of Parent Matterz, an organization dedicated to helping young people discover their passions and turn them into sustainable careers. Through Youth Empowerment Expos, Blueprint to Success workshops, and speed networking events, Rhona introduces students to career exploration, college pathways, and meaningful mentor relationships. Her programs serve students from middle school through college.

Rhona has been featured on Black Entertainment Network radio through GEICO, as well as on Fox5 and NBC4 New York. Her work has also been highlighted in The Bergen Record and The Martha’s Vineyard Times.
